The company was founded in 1930 by Josef Schulte as a small carpentry workshop.

In 1972, Johannes Schulte took over the management of the business and simultaneously developed and produced the world's first ceiling covering.

Special attention is given to the Moderna Variation collection, which has become a symbol of elegance and advanced technologies. Products under the MEISTER brand are distributed exclusively in the timber and building materials trade.
